ASM names Carrie Ciliberto as next CEO

The Associated Subcontractors of Massachusetts is pleased to announce that Carrie L. Ciliberto, Esq. has been named as the next CEO of the association, to succeed Monica Lawton, who will retire at the end of July after 20 years with ASM. Carrie will officially join ASM on July 20.
Carrie comes to ASM with impressive construction industry and association credentials. Since 2008, she has served as Senior Director & Counsel, Contracts & Construction Law for the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) in Washington D.C. Simultaneously she was Deputy Executive Director & Counsel for ConsensusDocs LLC, the AGC affiliate that produces the only standard construction contracts in the U.S. written by 40 leading industry organizations.
Prior to her tenure with AGC, she was the founder and principal of a Colorado law firm emphasizing water, natural resources, environmental, real property and land use law.
Carrie earned her J.D. from Michigan State University with a concentration in international and environmental law, and is licensed to practice in several federal, state and district courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.
Prior to her legal career, she was a marketing and advertising professional for more than 10 years working on projects for a wide variety of high profile local and national corporations. She also spent time as Director of Marketing for luxury real estate developments in Colorado.
Carrie has spoken frequently at construction industry events across the nation and has authored numerous articles for legal and construction industry publications.
She is excited to be moving to Massachusetts and working with ASM members and the Board of Directors to lead the association forward.
