“Don’t Sleep On The Details Of Worker’s Compensation Worker Classification – It Could Cost You”
THURSDAY, March 1, 2018
12:00 PM – 12:30 PM
The Worker’s Compensation Rating and Inspection Bureau – ‘WCRIB’ – is licensed by the Massachusetts Division of Insurance and charged with filing rates and classifications for approval by the Division, among other things.
Depending on your trade – the classification of your workers within that trade can have significant cost impacts. There are changes afoot at WCRIB intended to clarify how you properly classify steel erection workers, and to assure that all contractors properly classify – and pay for – worker’s compensation.
Tune in to get the background on WCRIB, how it works, how the classifications work, and the changes being made to provide uniformity to the classifications being used and enforcement of the related costs being charged.
